Our philosophy is simple: we only make products for which plastic is the best possible material – creating solutions that are both environmentally and economically responsible.
We exclusively use thermoplastics, processing them as single-material products to ensure they can be recycled with ease. We choose these materials because they combine excellent performance with a long service life.
Thermoplastics offer numerous advantages: they are energy-efficient to process, highly durable, suitable for everyday use, food-safe, dishwasher-safe, hygienic and easy to clean.
Plastic products are lightweight, practical, easy to use and maintain, and above all, virtually unbreakable. This makes them particularly well suited for reusable tableware, where transport, storage, serving, clearing and dishwashing become significantly easier while also reducing the risk of injury caused by broken glass or ceramics.
This is an especially important benefit for products designed for children.
Another key advantage is their low weight, making them ideal for on-the-go products that are often carried in backpacks or shoulder bags. The same applies to children's lunch boxes and drink bottles, helping to keep school bags as light as possible.
All of our products are dishwasher-safe, making them exceptionally easy to care for.

How and where are koziol products manufactured?
All Koziol products are manufactured exclusively at our headquarters in Erbach in the
Odenwald region. Thanks to our in-house production, we manufacture quickly,
flexibly, and, above all, transparently. The entire value chain takes place in
one location, allowing every process to be fully traced and monitored. Our
products are regularly tested by independent institutes such as TÜV. In
addition, we are IFS-certified to meet the highest food safety standards, and
we are a member of SEDEX.
Is microplastic produced during production or use?
No. All plastic waste generated in our production, such as sprues, off-colors, or granulate residues, is collected by type and sent for professional recycling. Even all packaging materials in which the material is delivered are collected and recycled.
Microplastics are plastic particles smaller than 5 mm. These are formed, among other things, when plastic weathers, breaks, or is abraded due to heavy use. Careless disposal in the environment often plays a role here.
With normal use of reusable tableware, it can be assumed that no particles are released. Koziol also consistently avoids additives such as plasticizers or hardening agents.
This environmental pollution caused by microplastics is indeed a problem that we also take very seriously and therefore handle our materials very carefully.
Why should I choose a plastic product?
Plastic products are lightweight, extremely practical, easy to use and care for, and above all, they are break-resistant. Especially with reusable tableware, this enormously simplifies transport, storage, serving, clearing, and washing, and eliminates the risk of injury. This is also an absolute argument for children's products.
Another advantage is the low weight, especially for to-go products that often have to be carried long distances in a backpack or shoulder bag. And school bags also won't be unnecessarily heavy. All products are dishwasher-safe and therefore particularly easy to care for.
